Safe Water in Uganda
We drilled more than 50 boreholes for the client company in the Safe Water project in Uganda. More than 100,000 people benefit from these boreholes and provide the carbon reduction outputs that the client company expects. The boreholes we have built ensure full compliance with Gold Standard project development processes. We have successfully completed the baseline surveys in the region requested by the accreditation body. The carbon emission reduction of our boreholes is supervised by the VVB (Verification and Validation Body). We have completed the necessary surveys and water quality tests for these inspections. We also provide maintenance and audits of the project in a way that project developer company acquires carbon credits for 15 years. This project, which reflects our regional operational strength, continues to be audited annually by the independent Verification Validation Body.
Safe Water project in Uganda also contributes to United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
